RESEARCH SPECIALTIES / CAREER:

Summary Statement:

My research interests are very broad as well as deep.  I have published more than 40 refereed journal papers and conference papers. Most publications are in the high quality international journals, e.g. IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man and Cybernetics: Systems, International Journal of Robust and Nonlinear Control, Information Sciences, IET Control Theory & Applications, Journal of the Franklin Institute, etc. My major contributions are: 1) analysis and synthesis for switched systems, 2) receding horizon control/filtering design and 3) fuzzy linear modelling for complex nonlinear systems.

Research Grants / Funding:  

· Title: Control for switching-jump systems based on mean square stability with dwell time. Agency: National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC). Amount: ¥230,000 (2013.01-2015.12, preside)

· Title: Decouple and control for multivariable systems based on the finite dimensional modelling method. Agency: NSFC. Amount: 780,000 (2014.01-2017.12, participate)

· Title: The state estimation and robust control for non-homogeneous Markov jump system. Agency: NSFC. Amount: 240,000 (2012.01-2014.12, participate)

· Title: Control and application of multi-model system based on finite short time stability. Agency: NSFC. Amount: 330,000 (2010.01-2012.12, participate)
